Turkey Central exists to provide a place where Turkish businesses can reach the International market. We are larger than the Yahoo! regional directory*** (see footnote below).

Turkey Central consists of five parts:

  1. The Internet Directory: Turkey Central began with its directory, which has received millions of visits from people from all over the World wanting to learn about, or travel to Turkey for business or leisure. Each website submitted to the directory is edited by a real person; it is not an automated search engine like Google. There are great advantages to this:
    • In Google, if a person searches for the word "Turkey," he or she will get millions of results, including every web page on the Internet which has the word "Turkey" in it. Because we personally review every website submitted to the directory, there are no irrelevant results.
    • Most Turkish websites are not professionally optimized for the automated search engines, but still have excellent products or services to offer. Even if a website isn't in the top results of Google or the other automated search engines, it can be found easily at Turkey Central. This is a huge advantage for both Turkish businesses and their customers. This is what has made us the largest English-language directory of Turkish websites in the World.
  2. The Community: The Turkey Central community consists of a forum, live chat, free photo galleries, and blogs.
    1. Forums: For anyone wishing to discuss any aspect of Turkey, and are especially valuable to travelers, businesspeople, or foreigners living or wishing to live in Turkey.

  4. Tourism and Travel Services: One of Turkey’s most important business sectors is Tourism. We intend to create a showcase of the variety of tours and travel packages available to travelers who wish to visit Turkey. We are not a travel agency, and we do not represent ourselves as one. We simply provide a place where Turkish travel agencies can list their tours. All arrangements, communications, and providing of any tours or travel services is done only by properly-licensed travel agents.
  5. Export Products: Turkey has many companies who wish to export products such as marble, olive oil, auto parts, and other items. Turkey Central provides a place where export companies can market their goods to other countries.
